Adaptive Optics for Taiaho Observatory

This University of Auckland-led project involving several Australian collaborators that aims to improve the performance of an experimental free-space optical communication observatory that has been established at UoA's Ardmore station. Specifically, the project seeks to develop an adaptive optics system to mitigate the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the received free-space communications signals.
