The Travel Award supports Centre members to attend conferences and events, both domestic and international.
How to access funding
Applications are considered monthly, and funding may be awarded up to $500 for travel within Australasia, or up to $1,500 for international travel.
Members will not normally be granted more than one award for international travel.
Criteria
- Travel must support the development of members, with priority given to applications which involve a presentation component
- Applications for international travel will require a strong justification, including combining conferences with lab visits or similar, and demonstrate opportunities for professional development
The Dodd-Walls Centre research focus is photonics, the generation, transmission, and manipulation of light, and the study of matter and energy at the quantum level.
