New Ideas Funding supports Centre members by providing seed funding for new strategic directions, developing new research and early proof of principle work. However, other initiatives to grow national and international connections, such as workshops, conferences and summer schools will also be considered.
New Ideas Funding may be awarded up to $25,000, which may not be used for overheads on salaries, or to fund FTE for those with permanent positions.
Applicants must be members of the Centre, either Investigators or New and Emerging Researchers (following the Marsden Fast Start definition).
